Things to Know about Camp
- The Cost for your week of camp includes the camp program, Hot meals, lodging, and camp T-shirt. Extra money is needed to pay for canteen and for daily missions offering or camp store purchases.
- **Early Bird Discounts: Pre-register between May 1st – May 31st, save $10, Full Rate starts June 1st ($150).
- Pre-register/Early Bird Express Line: Help us plan and we want to reward you for signing up early. Campers who register as an ‘Early Bird’ will be rewarded by saving the most money, receiving 1st choice of bunks, and be guaranteed the correct T-shirt size.
- Sunday Registration runs from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. for overnight camps (Day Camps on Saturdays 9:30 – 10:00 am check in and camp runs from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m.). Dorms will not open before 3:00 and you must register before our staff can allow you into the dorms.
- Pickup times: 5-night camps and pick-up will be Friday at 12:00 p.m.
- Mail: Please send mail early in your child’s week to guarantee delivery before they leave. (Send no later than Tuesday of camp week).
- Visitor Policy: CCYC encourages visitors to be the exception rather than the rule during camp. They cause major distractions to campers and most times cause more harm than good. If you must visit, for the safety of all our campers, please follow the camp visitor policy and sign in at the office. YOU MUST SIGN IN. Our gate locks after campfire for the safety of our guests and facilities.
- Volunteers: If you would like to help during summer camp as a counselor, teacher, or kitchen volunteer, you MUST contact the camp/dean of the week 2 weeks before your week of camp to check on availability. All volunteers working with children will be required to allow a background check and fill out an online faculty volunteer application @ least 3 weeks before camp begins.

DO NOT BRING: These items can cause distractions to our programs, and some bring dangerous risks to our campers. If any of the listed items are found with a camper, they will be confiscated, and camper may be sent home. We are not responsible for lost or confiscated items brought to camp.
3. NURSE & MEDICINES: All Medicines must be left in their original containers and have your child’s name on it in order for our staff to dispense them to your child. Also, all medicines must be turned into the nurse on Sunday and the camper’s medical release form fully completed.
4. IMPORTANT POLICIES TO KNOW!
A. Sunday Registration. Pre-registered campers will be registered first. DORMS WILL NOT OPEN BEFORE 3:00 P.M.
B. Pickup times: for campers will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday.
C. Mail: We are asking that mail be sent to campers by Monday for the students to receive the mail on time. Meals and gatherings will be different and not easy to hand out.
D. Visitor Policy: CCYC encourages visitors to be the exception rather than the rule during camp. They cause major distractions to campers and most times cause more harm than good. It sets a bad example for other campers and your child when they come and go. If you must visit, for the safety of all our campers, please follow the camp visitor policy and sign in at the office.
- Twin Size Bedding: Sheets, Pillow, Blankets or Sleeping Bag
- Shower Articles: 2-3 Towels, Washrags, Toiletries (Shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, etc.)
- Clothes: Casual clothes (shorts, t-shirts), underwear, socks, shoes, sandals, jacket, Athletic shoes, 1-piece suits, full-cut, no bare midriff swimsuits, no spaghetti strap shirts.
- Class Material: Bible (OT & NT), Notebook & pens
- Miscellaneous: Dirty Clothes Bag or trash bag, Flashlight, Camera, Missions Money. small hand sanitizer zipped to your water bottle.

- Skateboards
- Video Games, Video Cameras
- Scooters
- Fireworks
- Squirt Guns, water balloon launchers
- Weapons, knives, etc.
- Magazines/Secular Books
- Immodest bathing suits
- Tobacco products, alcohol, drugs, vaping devices, weed vapes.
